What I like about Xavier is he's a real world super-speed-sensation! He's not imaginary like the other 3 🤯

Go chiefs!

You make a logical point that’s based in reality. The problem with that is, I don’t live anywhere near reality. I’m sort of like Calvin (of Calvin & Hobbes fame) when his teacher asked what state he lived in:

“Denial.”

She couldn’t argue with that and neither can I. One thing I won’t deny, though, is that the Chiefs offense is very exciting again. I can’t wait for tomorrow!

There is still some unlocked potential in this offense with Worthy, even though he has a slight frame, he looks so natural and fluid in his route running. Excited to see what he can bring to the offense for the rest of the season, especially so with Hollywood going on IR for who knows how long.

Totally agree with you. It is so exciting for the Chiefs to have multiple WRs (and offensive weapons in general) to attack opposing defenses with- each with their own special talents. Worthy’s got the smooth super speed (he does seem rugged for his size) and Rice has the bigger body “catch a slant and take it 20” thing going on.

Plus, they can actually catch the ball and it doesn’t look like they’re fighting it on the way in. With MVS, every catch was a war between his hands and the ball. I particularly like how Rice just snatches the ball out of the air. I’m sure Patrick does too.

I have a small hope that Juju gets back to the two years ago version of himself or close, at least. That would give Patrick so many weapons (including Kelce and Pacheco and all the rest) that the offense would be darn near impossible to stop.

Super bummed about Hollywood, but better to have him healthy. Hopefully he’s back by the end of season and playoffs.

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I want a blowout by the Chiefs tomorrow. No close games anymore. Just destruction from here on out. Then I can relax.

Yeah, even with the IR stint for Hollywood, the WR group looks leaps and bounds better than last year. If JuJu can regain some of his 22' form or at least be an occasional chain mover on 3rd downs, that will go a long way in prolonging drives or stringing drives together and hopefully Hollywood is back by mid to late season.

The Chiefs blowing out the Bengals tomorrow would be a pleasant sight indeed. Aside from the "big talkers" that CIN seems to have on their team, I always thought Joe Burrow has a very punchable face, yet I am not an advocate for violence in any way. It's more just a feeling that I get when I see him.

I just legitimately laughed out loud! What you said about Burrow having “a very punchable face” is something I know I’ve said, but I think I actually wrote it in an early Chiefs Chronicles. Oh man!😂

Now I’m going to have to go back through and see if I ever wrote it down. Well done, sir.
